Great tree service-I really appreciated the job Paul and his crew did for us again as we had to have another huge oak tree that was dying taken down. I have had Paul and his crews at Benfield Tree Service take down at least three other huge oaks in the past decades and many of them were hanging over our house. They have always done a safe and professional job. I especially appreciate that they cleanup everything before they leave. Some of his people have been with him for over 20 years and their professionalism and attention to safety shows. A dying or dead tree has the potential to do tremendous damage if large chunks of it start falling onto your roof. I totally trust Paul and his crews to do a flawless job. We also had them shape a Red Maple that I planted when it was 6 feet tall and now it is 30 feet. I posted a picture here since they did such a nice job of shaping it. Paul will quote you the bare minimum and will not try to upsell you, which was perfect for when I was younger with more energy and less money and willing to do the removal work myself. Nowadays, I ask him to add in the price to take away the many wheelbarrows of chips and dust that remain after stump grinding and fill it in with top soil and put in grass seed. They have always given me a reasonable price for the amount of labor and equipment needed-they sometimes bring a huge chipper and a bucket truck. Really glad we have them to help us when we need tree work!

Excellent service! We had a fairly large tree that needed to be removed immediately to allow for replacement of our sewer line, which ran beneath it. We called Benfield Tree Service just after 1 pm and Paul came by to give us an estimate about 3:00. He was professional and courteous and understood the urgency of our situation. His bid was competitive and, once we gave him the go ahead, he scheduled the job for 11:00 the next morning and later juggled his schedule to start about 9:00! He and his crew were well-equipped, quick and efficient. He instructed the stump grinder to go extra deep to make it easier for the sewer crew to dig their trench, which worked perfectly. We have already hired Benfield Tree Service for another job, which we will schedule once the trench is filled in.

Paul and his crew were very professional and did a great job removing several large trees in close proximity of our home. I usually have terrible experiences with contractors, but Paul was wonderful to work with. Paul helped us become well informed customers, this is something ALL contractors should practice. Paul and his team at Benfield Tree Service did some work for me a few weeks ago. We have a long common driveway in our community and Benfield Tree removed trees and branches that were overhanging the road.
They were on time, job was done as directed and cleanup was great.

If you decide to have ANY tree work done...do not look anywhere else, but Benfield Tree Service. I've called Paul out three times to take care of trimming, tree removal and stump grinding. He and his team have always done magnificent work and showed up on time, every-time. And by far the best estimate around!

My mom had a large tree fall in her yard. I called Benfield tree service. A representative from the company came out within an hour to assess the issue. He advised that a team would be out in the morning to begin the job. This is the third time that I have used Benfield tree service for tree removal. Each time they have been professional, polite and efficient in carrying out their work. There prices are fair and they do a great job in cleaning up all debris. Thank you again Benfield tree service!

The team did an excellent job! They arrived on time and worked steadily throughout the two on-site days. They did an excellent job, especially in light of the fact that we have a challenging yard with a steady uphill slope to the street and a significant amount of hardscaping to work around. Highly recommend Paul and his team!I could not believe that it could be completed in one day, but they did it. They arrived when they said they would and worked very hard all day. I was very pleased with the work and the price. I am going to have them come back and cut down two more trees.
Got three estimates for a huge 120' Poplar tree. Benfield came in with the best price, and was recommended by a neighbor.
They had to delay because of a storm, but rescheduled a week later.
They showed up at 8am sharp and took care of the tree. They manually carted everything out of the back yard, and put down large plastic or hard rubber boards to protect the grass.
They raked and used leaf blowers to clean up all the debris. They brought in topsoil to fill the divots in the yard from the large branches.
I have had trees removed before and these guys were the best I ever employed. Happy to recommend Paul and the crew.
